Acceptable use policy.

1. Keep it lawful.

Do not use the services to create, store, publish or distribute content or to conduct activity that:

• is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
• infringes anyone's intellectual property, trade secrets or other rights - including generating content from material you have no right to use;
• is defamatory, threatening, harassing or hateful, or incites violence or discrimination;
• sexualises or exploits minors in any form - this leads to immediate termination and, where required, a report to authorities;
• violates anyone's privacy, including publishing personal data to intimidate or expose a person.

2. Keep it honest.

• No deceptive content: do not use the services to run disinformation campaigns, generate fake reviews or fake engagement, or produce scam, phishing or fraudulent material.
• No impersonation: do not present generated content as authored by a real person or organisation without their authority, and do not create deceptive likenesses of real people without consent and the disclosure the law requires.
• Keep required AI disclosures: the services label AI-generated drafts. Where the law - including Article 50 of the EU AI Act - requires AI-generated or manipulated content to be disclosed or marked, do not remove, hide or defeat that disclosure.
• Follow the rules of the channels you publish to: content pushed to connected accounts (for example LinkedIn) remains subject to those platforms' own terms, and email you send must be lawful, consent-based and honestly identified - no spam.

3. Respect the machinery.

• Do not attempt to bypass, exhaust or game quotas, rate limits, seat limits, storage caps or the AI allowance - including splitting activity across accounts or workspaces to evade a limit.
• Do not probe, scan or test the security of the services, or attempt to access another customer's workspace or data. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, report it to [email protected] and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing it.
• Do not upload malware, run denial-of-service activity, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the services or other customers' use of them.
• No scraping, crawling or bulk-automated access to the services outside the documented features, and no automated bulk creation of accounts or workspaces.

4. Commercial boundaries.

• Your subscription is for your own organisation (or, for individual customers, for yourself). Do not resell, rent, sublicense or white-label the services, and do not operate them as a generation bureau for third parties, without a written agreement with us.
• Do not use the services to build a competing product or a training dataset from the services' software, interfaces or systematically extracted output.
• Agency use - producing work for your own clients inside your workspace - is fine. What is not fine is passing stomwerk access itself on as your product.

5. Safety-critical use.

Some stomwerk apps support safety-related workflows, such as permit-to-work in Work Permit Intelligence. AI features there are decision support, not the decision: do not rely on AI-generated content as the sole basis for a decision affecting the safety of people or infrastructure. The responsible human - the permit issuer, the reviewer, the coordinator - decides, every time. The services never use AI to evaluate individual workers, and you must not attempt to repurpose them to do so.

6. How we enforce.

Enforcement is proportionate. For most issues we will contact you and ask you to put it right. For serious or repeated breaches - or where we must act to protect other customers, the services or the law - we may remove content, suspend access or terminate the agreement as set out in the Terms of Service, and where the law requires it, notify authorities. This policy is version 6 July 2026 and is part of the Terms of Service. We update it as the services and the law evolve; material changes are notified per the Terms.
