The company behind the software.
Stomwerk AB is a software company registered in Stockholm, Sweden. We build the structure beneath work that has to hold up: change governance and permit-to-work software for capital projects, and brand-governed content production software for marketing teams.
What we do.
Two disciplines, one platform. stomwerk projekt is software for capital project delivery: change governance and permit-to-work for owners, EPCMs and contractors on major projects and live industrial sites. stomwerk scale is software for marketing teams: brand-governed content production, from approved brand facts through campaigns to channel-ready assets.
Both sit on one account, one login and one data model, so an organisation running a capital project and the brand around it is not running two unrelated systems.
The products.
| Product | Discipline | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Change Intelligence | stomwerk projekt | Change governance for capital projects: one controlled route from change notice to assessed, approved change, with an AI change writer grounded in the project record. |
| Work Permit Intelligence | stomwerk projekt | Permit-to-work for live industrial sites: permits, SIMOPS clash control, isolations, briefings and competency on one operational board. |
| stomwerk content | stomwerk scale | A creative production suite: campaigns, on-brand assets, research and channel packs, generated and governed in one place. |
stomwerk content is self-serve at engine.stomwerk.com. The two projekt products are provisioned per organisation. Plans and prices are on the pricing page.
How we build.
- Small team, shipped software. Stomwerk is run by two people. Everything described on this site is deployed and running, not planned.
- Grounded AI, with an off switch. AI features are grounded in the customer's own approved facts rather than a general model's guesswork, every workspace carries its own spend cap, and every AI surface can be turned off without losing the product.
- Hosted in the EU. Application compute, databases and media storage all sit in the EU, and text inference runs in Stockholm. The one exception is disclosed below.
- Written down. Terms, privacy, the data processing agreement and the full subprocessor register are published, dated and kept in step with how the services actually work.
Where things run.
Data residency is a design decision here, not a setting. This is the whole picture, including the part that is not yet where we want it.
| Layer | Provider | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Application compute | Vercel | Frankfurt, EU |
| Databases | Supabase Postgres | Frankfurt and Ireland, EU |
| Media and asset storage | Cloudflare R2 | EU jurisdiction |
| Text generation | Amazon Bedrock | Stockholm, EU |
| Image generation | Amazon Bedrock | Oregon, United States |
Image generation is the exception: no EU region of our current provider hosts an image model, so that one step is a documented transfer under standard contractual clauses. It is named in the subprocessor register and the privacy policy, and moving it into the EU is active work.

The name.
Stomwerk is stomverk, Swedish for the load-bearing framework. Stomme is the structural skeleton of a building; verk is purposeful work, as in kraftverk or byggnadsverk. The w is a stylistic choice; the meaning is structural. The longer version of that story is on the home page.
